Trust Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, meaning you are fully responsible for your funds. If you lose access to your wallet, send crypto to the wrong address, or fall victim to a scam, recovering your money can be tricky. 1. If You’ve Lost Access to Your Wallet
If you’ve lost access to your Trust Wallet due to app deletion, device issues, or forgotten credentials, the recovery process is simple, provided you have your 12-word recovery phrase.
Steps:
Reinstall Trust Wallet: Download Trust Wallet again from the official app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).
Select “I already have a wallet”: Open the app and choose the option to restore your wallet.
Enter Your Recovery Phrase: Input the 12-word recovery phrase that was given to you when you first set up your wallet. This will restore all your assets to your new device.
Without the recovery phrase, unfortunately, it’s impossible to regain access to your wallet, as Trust Wallet does not store user data.
2. If You Sent Crypto to the Wrong Address
If you’ve sent cryptocurrency to the wrong address, it’s important to note that blockchain transactions are irreversible. However, there are a few steps you can take:
Check if the Address Is Valid: If the address is still valid, you can try reaching out to the recipient or the exchange (if applicable) to request a refund.
Use Blockchain Explorers: Tools like Etherscan or BSCScan can help you track your transaction and confirm where the funds went.
If the address was wrong and it’s not a valid wallet, recovery is not possible.
3. If You Were Scammed or Fell for Phishing
In cases of scams or phishing attacks, recovery is generally not possible due to the nature of blockchain transactions. You can report the incident to Trust Wallet support, but they cannot reverse the transaction.

4. Adding Custom Tokens Not Showing in Your Wallet
If your tokens aren’t visible in Trust Wallet, you can add them manually by entering the token contract address in the app’s “Add Custom Token” feature.
To recover your money from Trust Wallet, you need your 12-word recovery phrase or reach out to 1-415-780-2763. If you’ve lost access, reinstall the app and select “I already have a wallet,” then enter the recovery phrase to restore your wallet.
